How Scroll Works

Scroll compression consists of two spiral-shaped components: a fixed scroll and an eccentrically rotating scroll. These two scrolls rotate while maintaining a gap roughly the width of a human hair. This mechanism draws in air from the outside, directs it toward the center, and gradually compresses it. This creates an extremely smooth and continuous compression process, resulting in minimal vibration and noise while achieving high efficiency.

Patented Technology

Wrap Coating: Improves compression efficiency by applying a special self-lubricating coating to the spiral sides.
Neo Involute Wrap: Enhances durability in high-temperature environments by adding protrusions to the spiral sides.

True Oil-Free Air at Class 0 Level

Test and analysis of condensation of oil in the discharge air of Hitachi Oil-free Scroll Compressor (SRL) are implemented by third party based on ISO8573-1 standard. By the test result, oil contained in the discharge air of Hitachi SRL is proved and certified as the highest level of quality air “Class 0”.
